Nicholas Hoult to Star as Lex Luthor in ‘Superman: Legacy

Nicholas Hoult, known for his roles in “The Great” and “Warm Bodies,” has been cast as Lex Luthor in the upcoming “Superman: Legacy” movie, a new addition to the DC Universe. This casting news comes after Hoult was previously considered for the role of Clark Kent/Superman, a part that ultimately went to David Corenswet. Hoult’s recent work includes starring in “Renfield” and “The Menu.”

“Superman: Legacy” is set to be a significant entry in the Superman film series, with a story that delves into Superman’s struggle to balance his Kryptonian heritage with his upbringing as Clark Kent in Smallville, Kansas.
