The Final Review Trailer Has Arrived For Evil Dead Rise
Tickets are now on sale for the fifth installment of the Evil Dead franchise, with only two weeks until it’s theatrical release. In preparation for the upcoming release, the final review for “Evil Dead Rise” has been released and it looks bloody good.
The Evil Dead franchise is a series of horror films and related media created by filmmaker Sam Raimi. The franchise began with the 1981 film “The Evil Dead,” which tells the story of a group of friends who unwittingly unleash demonic forces while staying at a remote cabin in the woods.
The film was a critical and commercial success, and spawned two sequels: “Evil Dead II” in 1987 and “Army of Darkness” in 1992. The series also includes a 2013 remake of the original film, as well as several comic book series, video games, and a television series called “Ash vs. Evil Dead.”
The franchise is known for its combination of horror, comedy, and over-the-top gore, as well as its iconic protagonist, Ash Williams, played by actor Bruce Campbell.
Director Lee Cronin’s (The Hole in the Ground) Evil Dead Rise is coming exclusively to theaters on April 21, 2023.
Here’s the official plot synopsis for Evil Dead Rise…
“In the fifth Evil Dead film, a road-weary Beth pays an overdue visit to her older sister Ellie, who is raising three kids on her own in a cramped L.A apartment. The sisters’ reunion is cut short by the discovery of a mysterious book deep in the bowels of Ellie’s building, giving rise to flesh-possessing demons, and thrusting Beth into a primal battle for survival as she is faced with the most nightmarish version of motherhood imaginable.”
